Questions
What guests ask before they come.
Before you go
Is it safe to travel to Morocco?
Morocco is considered a safe country to travel to and it welcomed over 19.8 Million tourists in 2025 with Marrakech being the most popular destination in the country.
It may be a challenging destination for some travelers because of the aggressive harassment, frequent scams and petty crimes – but our local team will be with you to provide you with an authentic experience while shielding you from these experiences.
What is needed to travel to Morocco?
Most countries, including the EU nations, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and several in Asia, South America, and Africa, have visa-free access to Morocco for short tourist stays (typically up to 90 days), receiving an entry stamp upon arrival.
All you will need to attend this yoga retreat is your passport with a validity of at least 6 months. If you want to double check if you need a visa, visit this official government portal to confirm.
What is the best way to get to Marrakech?
The Marrakech Airport (RAK) has direct flights to more than 90 cities in 25 countries including most Europeans capitals. If flying from the US, you may either look for flight options via a European city or via Casablanca which has multiple direct flights to North America.
For round trip flights from Europe, you can expect to pay ~$100-$400 and from North America $800-$1500.
We will coordinate airport pick up and drop offs with each of you. Note that some of you may decide to come earlier and stay longer to experience Marrakech longer or to see other parts of the country. If so, we will coordinate pick up and drop off to/from your accommodations or train/bus station as needed.
What can I expect once I land at the Marrakech airport?
Once your flight lands in Marrakech, here is what you can expect:
• Go through the immigration booth where you will get your passport stamped
• Pick up any checked luggage and clear customs by putting all your luggage in the xray machine (note that drones are not allowed in Morocco)
• Walk outside the airport in the waiting area where someone from out team will be waiting for you to drive you to the villa where we will be staying
Are there any flexibilities regarding arrival and departure dates?
If you plan to arrive earlier or stay longer in Morocco. We are happy to coordinate with you to pick you up or drop you off at your accommodations in Marrakech on those days so you can join us during the retreat.
If you need recommendations on how to get to Marrakech from other cities, we are happy to help. Typically, the best option for travel between cities in Morocco is either to take the train (ONCF) or with one of the express bus companies CTM or Supratour.
